How we build
Building:
We Build, therefore We Are . .
As aphorisms go, "We build, therefore we are" is a good one for our practice. While we are Architects first and Builders second, we have used our ability to build as a foundational skillset. It has helped us be selective about the projects we undertake and embody an ethos of being responsible for "getting things done." We see the practice of building has a healthy influence on our Design Practice. And since we only build a few of our designs that match our skill set, we remain relatively competitive as builders. The designers and builders can often navigate problems and arrive at solutions with less friction under the same roof. And finally, good design rules on our construction sites.

Corner’s don’t get cut and good design rules on our construction sites.

Architects are about Space, so they draw. Builders are about Time, so they schedule. We do both.
